Activities include Swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing , 4WDing, sandboarding (across from Silver creek – you need to cross river), observatory, and chilling. The lower reaches of Moore River are often stained by eucalypts, while upstream it becomes crystal clear. 

Wildlife is abundant. During our stays we have seen Sea Eagles, Bobtail lizards, kangaroos, emus, Tawny Frogmouth owls, echidnas, whales, and pythons.

Pictured is a baby turtle, one of the population of Moore River.

Lancelin is just 45km north with it’s dunes, surfing, kiting and windsurfing beaches.
